All Learn to Skate sessions will take place at the Charlestown Rink on Union Street from: 

November 9th, 2019 through March 7th, 2020. Saturdays from 12pm to 12:50pm.

This program runs for 14 weeks and is open to boys and girls ages 3 and up. Emphasis is on the fundamental skills of skating, including forwarding skating, turning and stopping, and enjoying physical activity.

This program is a recommended prequisite to “Learn to Play – Micro” Program, which is typically a child’s second/third year on the ice.

Registration Fee: $150; Make checks payable to CYHA; or pay Online with Easy Merchant

Required Equipment that players must have:

• hockey skates
• wear a hockey helmet (not a bicycle helmet, as the helmet should be fitted with a cage or a full-face shield.)
• heavy gloves or mittens
• knee pads
• elbow pads
• (no hockey sticks at Learn to Skate Program)
